Drum Room

One word describes the Drum Room at Rare Air: large. The 14' X 13' space can easily accomodate 2 large, miked drum kits and a percussion array at the same time! Also notice the musicians, engineers and producer can easily see one another. The distance from there this photo was taken and the window in the back of the control room is 60 feet. Sightlines are important when recording because the communication this allows makes for a quick, economical recording session.
